This piece was created from a photo of a flower that only blooms at night called Epiphyllum, or Queen of The Night. I have done many different works from these flowers as they have such in interesting shape and lend themselves to unlimited treatments. The flowers are typically white, so I wanted to take this piece in a completely different direction.
