When I was approached by PayPal, I had little interest in making a move from Amazon; however, when they explained that they wanted to reinvent and improve the site experience, it was an opportunity that I could not pass up and one where I felt that I could make a significant difference. I decided to make the move to Austin to develop PayPal’s design team and elevate the user experience.

As Director of Visual Experience Design, overseeing the visual layer for all touch points, was exciting—and the fact that there was such support to improve the experience made it a worthwhile endeavor.
